OUR HISTORY

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth". In April of 2012, God appointed Rev. Harrison Johnson, Jr. to start his own ministy. Romans 10:14 "And how shall they hear without a preacher". He was obedient to the will of God. II Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God". This transformed into Bible Study being held in the home of Rev. Johnson on Saturdays at 2pm. beginning in the summer of 2012. During this time preparations began to open the ministry to the public.

Matthew 16:18 "Upon this rock i will build my church". On Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2pm in the chapel of March Funeral Home-West located at 4300 Wabash Avenue, Baltimore, MD the Inaugural Worship Service was held. Word 4 Life Ministries became a fellowship of Baptized believers called together as a body to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Committed to the public worship of God...

I Corinthians 11:24 "Do this in remebrance of me". Sunday, November 24, 2012 W4L celebrated the 1st Sacrament Holy Communion. Psalm 84:10 "For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand". Sunday, January 4, 2013 was the 1st Installation/Consecration of officers.

I Corinthians 15:58 "Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord". On Saturday, October 12, 2013, W4L established their their Constitution and Bylaws.
